Join the WISE NL Team!

November 4, 2020: Nominations are now closed.

WISE NL is seeking members to serve as Directors on the 2021 Board. Now in our 32^st year, it is a great time to get involved and help guide WISE NL into the future. Fresh perspectives are especially important given the uncharted territory brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Overall Expectations

• Understand and support the objectives of WISE NL.
• Be a WISE NL member in good standing at the time of nomination.
• Committed to ensuring that current and new WISE NL programs continue to serve our constituents and stakeholders.
• Participate in routine Board meetings. Meetings are typically held for 2-hours in the evening on the second Wednesday of the month excluding July and August.
• Attend training sessions and special meetings as required.
• Attend and promote WISE NL activities.

An expression of interest and, if applicable, a brief resume should be emailed to president@wisenl.ca by November 3, 2020.

Final nominees to the Board will be presented for election at the Annual General Meeting tentatively scheduled for the week of November 16, 2020. The one-year Board term begins January 1, 2021.
