Indigenous Youth

WISE NL has sponsored different student outreach programs over the decades. Our current focus is on Indigenous Youth in the province, specifically a youth conference.

Indigenous Youth Conferences have been offered to female and male indigenous high school students interested in learning more about career options in science and engineering. Students are encouraged to consider a career in these fields through professional development activities, mentoring and knowledge of the opportunities available. Students are encourage to share the information and promote opportunities in their schools, home communities among their peers.
