Brainstorm 2021

WISE NL will begin to conduct routine brainstorming sessions in order to gather input from WISE NL members regarding specific topics of high priority to WISE NL. In 2020 we are especially interested in suggestions on how to adapt to our new pandemic-restricted environment.

The information will be used to prioritize and guide the planning of future activities. We hope you will join in for the conversations.

These one-hour sessions (7:00 pm to 8:00 pm) will be conducted through Zoom. Interested participants encouraged to pre-register to ensure that any supporting materials are received.

• Underemployment Transitions – October 22, 2020.
  This session will discuss issues related to women who are trying to apply or leverage their science,  engineering or technology credentials toward more reliable employment.

• Student Summer Employment Program (two options) – October 26, 2020, October 28, 2020.
  This session will discuss how aspects of the Student Summer Employment Program (SSEP) might change in light of pandemic restrictions. SSEP supervisors and past participants are highly encouraged to attend.
