Keynote Speaker - Greta Raymond, ICD.D, MPH
Greta Raymond's interest in science began at age 6 with a chemistry set and it was nurtured and encouraged by her parents. Her high school biology teacher turned her interest into a passion. Her university education in Human Biology and Environmental Health formed the "portal" through which she became a technical advisor, a senior executive, a mentor, a management consultant, and the Board chair of an international engineering-based non-profit that has reached over 7 million people with clean water. Her career has taken her offshore, underground and around the world.Who says "science and engineering are boring?" Greta will provide some "lessons learned" from her life and career that will inspire future women scientists and engineers and their support networks, and open their eyes to the broad range of exciting possibilities ahead of them.
